Our vision of a HIPAA compliant electronically up-to-date doctors office begins with the patient check-in. Instead of waiting in line for the receptionist, we can provide a check-in stand that can allow the patient to check-in and enter or verify current information, even if it's their first visit. There is no need for forms to print, but we can shoot out a card that contains the patient's information in a bar code. We can also accept a debit or credit card at that time. The patient can actually be tracked through the office visit with this card if readers are mounted at strategic locations.

The receptionist or nurse can now check their Palm Pilot or Notebook to see the next person in line as soon as the doctor clears the room. After the patient is called back, the nurse preps the patient and enters the current information and vitals into her Notebook (which can be mobile or stationary in each room). The doctor can now be electronically notified that the patient is ready.

The doctor no longer needs to check a paper file and possibly miss previous diagnoses and/or allergies. Now, the doctor checks with their Palm Pilot or Notebook to quickly retrieve that information along with what the patient needs on this visit and what the nurse entered for today.

As the doctor talks with the patient, they can enter their notes into a Notebook using a pen (digital ink) which can be converted to editable type or they can type it directly in.

After the doctor is finished with the patient, they have several options. They can then enter the diagnosis(es) which is then available to the nurse, receptionist, and even the patient over the internet (if chosen). They can EDI the insurance form or anyone in the office can do it or it can be automatically and immediately sent - the patient will appear on a list ready for sending until sent. The doctor can initiate the electronic send of any prescriptons needed to any drug store that can receive it or they can fax it as well.

This is not the only use - now doctors are being able to charge and be reimbursed for answering e-mail. We can track that and automatically bill for that as well.

We are a full-service company which means that anything you need, we can provide including any hardware, networking or software. We guarantee full compliance with all government regulations.
